VibraVM Pro™ Standard Model:

This model has three modes: Auto, Manual and Massage .

In this model, the slider on the back of the unit is functional. This allows you to both set the frequency or hold a frequency.

In Manual mode, you press the slider up for higher frequencies, and down to lower the frequency. While you can use Manual mode to stay at the same frequency indefinitely (hold the frequency), generally you use Manual mode to set a starting frequency and switch to Auto mode to progress upward. Auto mode will increase the frequency every 20 seconds. You can switch back and forth between Manual and Auto mode as much as you like. So you could raise or lower the frequency in Manual, then switch to Auto and progress upward from there. When in Auto mode, there is a cumulative timer for 7 minutes, which is counting any time the unit is in Auto mode.

The Pro unit gives you much more flexibility and goes to higher frequencies than the standard model. As you press the slider up or down the upper indicator lights 1 – 5 give you an indication of the frequency being generated by the unit. Led 1 – 2 correspond to Low mode, led 2 – 3 correspond to Medium mode, and led 3 – 4 correspond to High mode. Led 5 has the highest range of frequencies which are not programmed into the standard unit. These higher frequencies would be more effective on kittens, puppies, cats, dogs or other small animals.

We recommend a treatment of at least 3.5 – 4 minutes on either Auto or Manual mode, followed by two minutes of Massage mode. The protocols for starting with the lowest frequencies, then moving upward are the same.

We created the Pro model at the request of our staff veterinarian. He observed that as he was treating an animal it would respond well at a given frequency. He wanted to be able to continue to treat the animal at that frequency for more time, rather than automatically increasing the frequency as the standard model does. With the VibraVM Pro™ he can now switch to manual mode at the point he observes the good response, for a more precise and optimal treatment. Or he can switch to manual mode, lower the frequency slightly, and then switch back to Auto to move up through the good response frequencies again. He found he could shorten the treatment time to around four minutes using the VibraVM Pro™.

Massage Mode:

Both units have the same Massage mode, with slightly different steps to switch to it. This mode produces random white noise. The white noise massages the airways, effectively acting as a bronchodilator, relaxing of the long, smooth airway muscles, and opening the airways. This mode automatically turns off after 2 minutes. We recommend 2 minutes of Massage Mode following a treatment using the Low, Medium, High, or Manual/Auto modes.
